Our instructors have years of practical experience in their field and take a non-intimidating, no-nonsense approach in their presentations.  More importantly they will work in cooperation with your staff to provide you with the information you and your employees need most tailored to your facility.  Along with field experience our trainers have conducted accident and injury investigations as well as designed and implemented programs.  This unique blend of experience affords our instructors the ability to deliver presentations that are accurate and thorough.

 

Jerry Bowen

Jerry Bowen, a member of the Rowan County Rescue Squad since 1996, holds a degree in Commercial and Industrial Electricity from Rowan State Vocational Technical College. Along with a Masters and Contractors License in Kentucky, Mr. Bowen holds the following certifications:

Mr. Bowen helped in the formation of the Hayes Crossing-Haldeman Fire Department in 1997 and currently serving as Chief of the Department. He has been Assistant Director of Rowan EMS for two years and is a proud Kentucky Colonel.

 

Maurits Hartog, OHST

Along with Over 27 years experience in the Demolition and Disposal (D&D) construction/industrial/radiological safety and environmental management fields, Maurits "Mope" Hartog possesses a tecnical degree in Nuclear Engineering (A.S. equivalency) from the U. S. Navy Nuclear Power Program, and is currently being assessed for a B.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering. Mr. Hartog is also enrolled at Morehead State University, seeking his B.B.A. in Management, which he anticipates receiving in 2007.

Mr. Hartog is certified to train in myriad areas of workplace safety and material handling, including:
